September 18, 2012: Embedded Java

This session will introduce the audience to Oracle’s Embedded Java platform, talk about small footprint architecture situations, use cases and challenges in Industrial Automation, Manufacturing, Smart Grid and Healthcare type situations. I will also share some points from my upcoming Java One 2012 session on Building an Embedded platform for Manufacturing Big Data. Details here-

I regularly work with top tier customers and partners with embedded and small footprint appliances and help them architect their next generation embedded devices, PLCs, Shop Floor nodes and various sensors.
